Campus Ministry

The Campus Ministry Team ministers to Tampa Catholic’s students, faculty, staff and administration. It hopes to build a faith community by providing opportunities for those it serves to respond to the call of Jesus Christ.

Peer Ministers

The Peer Ministry Team is a group of faithful students dedicated to deepening their relationship with Jesus and evangelizing their peers. Their goal is to spread the Good News of the Catholic faith by receiving the Sacraments, worshiping in Adoration and leading their peers with the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Peer ministers: pray together, facilitate retreats, lead small groups, prepare witness talks, lector at Mass, altar serve, and witness to the Gospel to the best of their ability, in and out of school.

Encounter

Tampa Catholic offers "Encounter" experiences for each grade level. Encounters are led by Peer Ministers through which they facilitate witness talks, prayer experiences, and other activities to provide the space for each student to have an encounter with Jesus.

Kairos

Tampa Catholic also offers Kairos retreats to upperclassmen, which encompass a weekend long retreat for students to dive deeper into their faith. Kairos consists of a series of small group time, celebration of the Sacraments and forming intentional relationships with other retreatants as they build a stronger faith foundation and community at Tampa Catholic.  

OCIA

For those interested in becoming Catholic, we have the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults, OCIA. OCIA consists of weekly meetings where students have the opportunity to learn about and experience the teachings of the Catholic Church with the intention of entering fully at the Easter Vigil. 

Sacraments

We offer morning Mass twice weekly at 7:30am. We celebrate school wide Mass monthly for our entire community. We have Confession and Adoration opportunities once every month.
