Fall Production
Tampa Catholic High School Theatre Presents 'Little Women'!
Little Women, Act 1 introduces the four March sisters—Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy—as they navigate the challenges of growing up during the Civil War. Set in New England, the play captures their differing personalities and dreams: Meg, the responsible eldest, aspires for wealth and comfort; Jo, the ambitious writer with a fierce independence, yearns for adventure; Beth, the shy and gentle musician, cherishes family and home; and Amy, the youngest, seeks social status and artistic success.
As they face financial struggles, the sisters support each other through various trials, including the arrival of their wealthy neighbor, Laurie, who becomes a close friend. Themes of family, ambition, and the struggles of womanhood begin to emerge, highlighting the sisters' bonds and individual aspirations. The act sets the stage for their growth and the decisions that will shape their futures.
