Crew

Team info

Tampa Catholic Crew is a year-round sport offering the flexibility to participate in either the fall or spring season—or both. Each season operates independently with its own tryouts, athletes, boats, and competitive schedule, giving students the opportunity to choose the level of commitment that works best for them.

Rowing is a sport that calls for strong dedication, teamwork, and a competitive spirit. However, our mission goes far beyond athletic development. As coaches, we are committed to nurturing each athlete’s personal and spiritual growth, helping to instill lifelong skills and values that will serve them well into adulthood.

We proudly uphold Tampa Catholic’s core values of Faith, Excellence, and Family. Our team culture is rooted in honor, commitment, and pride. We build strong foundations of trust, loyalty, and shared purpose, all grounded in our love for God.

Team Expectations & Standards:

  • A minimum GPA of 2.0 is required to participate.
  • Any student earning a C or D or F in a class will be required to attend tutoring.
  • Regattas are held off campus; all but one require personal transportation.
  • All athletes are expected to help clean up after each practice.
  •

Whether you're new to rowing or continuing your journey, we invite you to become part of the Tampa Catholic Crew family!
