As many of you have heard by now the FHSAA has decided to cancel all FHSAA affiliated events, including all state series playoffs and state championships for spring sports. As they explained in their memo to the Athletic Directors around the state, the safety of the student-athletes, coaches, officials, and fans is their top priority, as it should be.

Due to the circumstances of the current pandemic, the annual team banquet, like so many other TC athletic events had to be cancelled. But during this stay-at-home event, senior parents think outside the box, working tirelessly to create and display a Senior Table which honors their senior athlete in their own homes.

Today as we culminate Catholic Schools Week, we are most pleased to announce a magnanimous $500,000 gift to Tampa Catholic High School made by Most Reverend Gregory L. Parkes as Bishop of the Diocese of St. Petersburg. In making this gift, Bishop Parkes affirmed the transformative mission of Tampa Catholic and offered a challenge for others to prioritize charitable giving to the school so that his “Challenge Gift” would be matched in full by the end of this school year. --READ MORE--
