On Thursday, April 30th, corrugated yard signs were delivered to the homes of Tampa Catholic's senior class in celebration of their accomplishments. These have been difficult times for our senior class. In this time of social distancing and stay home orders, they are missing their peers, their teachers, their routines and much more. The backbone of Tampa Catholic is “Family” so our staff is reaching out in personal ways during the coming weeks to share our love for this class.
Fifteen faculty and administration members pulled out of the Center for Student Services parking lot at 10:00 a.m. on a mission to deliver 176 signs all across the Tampa Bay area. They traveled far and wide; as far away as Apollo Beach, Ruskin, Lakeland and Odessa.
We are so thrilled to put smiles on the faces of our families and students. Our delivery team commented, "Something special is happening at TC for families to make these long drives daily", or "Nice to see my kids again. I even got to tutor one along the way, she came out with her iPad with a question on a summative for tomorrow" and "I gave more virtual hugs today and it felt REALLY GREAT",
Our parents doubled down on the love and were so very touched by these special deliveries. With more to come, we love our newest Crusader graduates. Congratulations to an already famous class – the class of #TCHS2020!
Shout out to this amazing team! Yesterday, this wonderful group of Tampa Catholic Faculty, Staff and Administrators delivered 176 signs to our class of #TCHS2020 seniors; traveling as far away as Lakeland. Spreading TC love for the special group of grads is what #TCFamily is all about!
