TC Class of 2020 Premieres Virtual Graduation

On June 1, 2020 Tampa Catholic premiered our virtual graduation ceremony for our newest grads and families. As high schools and colleges struggle to provide meaningful recognition to 2020 graduating seniors, Tampa Catholic has made every effort to make these difficult times memorable, promising and exciting. The TC family delivered personalized graduation yard signs across four counties; held a massive drive-thru parade on campus for our seniors;  and produced several great videos including Dr. Seuss’ ‘Oh the Places You’ll Go’, Senior Farewell and this 2020 Virtual Graduation Ceremony.

The video contains all the pomp and circumstance of an in-person event, including speeches from Katherine Pottle O’Neal, our 2020 Salutatorian, who will pursue a Major in International Economics at the University of Notre Dame, and the 2020 Valedictorian, Marianne Porras Bouzas, who will pursue a degree in Biomedical Engineering at Florida International University as a member of the University Honors College.

This year we are proud to announce the graduation of 174 Crusader seniors and that 100% of the graduating class plan to attend college. As of today, the class of 2020 has been awarded scholarships totaling $8,592,141.

Be sure to watch our 2020 Virtual Graduation. The video also includes, Tampa Catholic Department awards, our presentation of graduates, awards from outside organizations, Principal’s Remarks and our Alma Mater.

Please join us in recognizing the achievements of our graduates of the Class of 2020.
