Soccer State Final Four Send Off

boys varsity soccer team in prayer

February 9th, 2016

Dressed in professional attire, the Boys Varsity soccer team left Tampa Catholic this morning ready to get down to business. The road to the state tournament has been long and challenging but nothing compared to the two agonizing hours spent on a bus anxiously waiting to be in Melbourne. Tampa Catholic is making its third appearance in the state final four and its first one since 2000.

After a short assembly, Brother Chris Burns’ blessing and a train of high-fives to the fans, the team was finally on their way. The team takes on Bishop Kenny at 4:00 this afternoon.

The last few weeks have been one for the books here at TC. The Boys and Girls Basketball teams are seeing success on the court with their journeys deep into the playoffs.

The boys team, led by Oklahoma State signee Thomas Dziagwa and junior Kevin Knox, play in their Regional Quarterfinal game this Thursday February 9th at home against Bishop Verot.

After overcoming many injuries, a strong TC girls Basketball team led by senior Dominique Eule is headed to Regional Semifinals at 7:00 tonight at Brooks-DeBartolo.

We wish all of our teams the best of luck.

Go Crusaders!
