Our Floridian families in the Panhandle were in great need of our help. After the devastation in Mexico Beach, Florida and panhandle, our TC Family, Faculty and Students wanted to help. Our school set a challenge goal to raise $8,000 (roughly $10 for all students and staff) in a week’s time.
A wonderful anonymous donor stepped up and offered to match the school's drive up to $5000. After a week with an amazing response, we are pleased to report that our TC Family raised $8,310.31 in donations alone. With an additional $5,000 match, our school proudly presented our local Catholic Charities with a check totaling $13,310.31.
Seen here, Alexa Russo (Ministry), Dariana Gutierrez (Student Government President) & Max Cuva (Senior Class President), along with Principal Robert C. Lees, presenting our check to Mr. Louis Ricardo from the Diocese of St. Petersburg Catholic Charities.
Mr. Ricardo successfully deliver our check for Hurricane Michael Relief last week. The check was presented & delivered to Catholic Charities of Northwest Florida. Thank you to our entire TC Community! We thank you so much for the generosity of all our crusader families who helped with this much needed relief effort. And we are very grateful for the blessing of an anonymous donor who added an additional $5,000 to the school's relief drive.
