I would like to wish everyone a very Happy Easter and a great spring break. As we come to this most holy of times in the Catholic Church let us not forgot that Jesus died on the cross for all of us and rose from the dead 3 days later. Sometimes we get bogged down with our everyday lives and forget that God is always there to guide us on our journey through life.
COLLEGE SIGNINGS: It is always a great day for all of us here in the athletic department when some of our student athletes sign letters of intent with colleges to further their careers and play on the next level. This past Wednesday 5 of our student/athletes signed to further their education on the college level. They are:
Shane Adwell: North Greenville University (baseball)
Mitch Carter: St. Michael’s College (baseball)
Maddy Epperson: University of South Florida (softball)
Lindsey Gonzalez: Southeastern University (golf)
Madison Melendez: Barry University (rowing)
Congratulations to all five of these outstanding student/athletes, their coaches, and their parents. We are all proud of what you have accomplished and wish you the best of luck at the college of your choice.
More photos will be available at the school's Official Facebook Fan Page.
SPRING BREAK: Even though our students will be off from school some of our teams will be competing over the spring break.
Boys Tennis: Our boys’ tennis team will be competing in the regional this coming Tuesday at a site still to be determined. Our boys team finished 2nd in the district this week and thus have qualified for the regional.
Track: Our track team will be at Berkeley Prep next Wed. 4/19 for the district track meet. This is the first step on the way to states.
Softball: Our softball team travels to Canterbury in St. Pete next Thurs. 4/20 for a 6:00 game.
JV Baseball: Our JV baseball team plays next Tues. against a team from Ocean City, NJ at the Walter Fuller Complex in St. Pete at 4:30.
Please continue to support our coaches and athletes. They work very hard at representing TC in the right way. We all are a part of helping to develop champions on the field, in the classroom, and in the community. GO TC!!
