FTK Club Raises $10,024.18 ‘For The Kids’ of Shriners Hospitals for Children — Tampa!
This year’s TC Mini Dance Marathon benefitting Shriners Hospitals for Children — Tampa was a great success. ‘For The Kids’ Club (@tampcatholicftk) set a big goal of $8,500 and they exceeded it by raising $10,024.18, all FOR THE KIDS!
Over 100 students plus families of Shriners and Fight for Gold children enjoyed music, an obstacle course, ping pong, cornhole and “fun jail time” for 4 hours on Saturday, January 12 — all FOR THE KIDS.
Thanks to Westshore Pizza (Ms. Masters) and Beef O’ Brady’s New Port. Richey, students were well fueled to dance, stand and/or play the entire time, no sitting! Thanks to dynamic soloist freshman Gabriella Valdes and to the Crusaderettes for their wonderful performances.
What a privilege to have Shriners kids come and speak to us on how important it is to raise funds for the hospital and how it directly helps them. No family is denied services regardless of their ability to pay. A blessing for us to play a small part in helping these families. #LJIOHF
