Tampa Catholic High School will use the results of the PSAT as one measure for course placement into next year’s classes. Because this is such an important test, we highly encourage you to go to the College Board website, https://www.collegeboard.org/ click on students, there you will see SAT. Under that heading you will see PSAT/NMSQT, click on it and there you will find helpful hints, how to read the test, free practice tests and lots more.
We encourage your child to begin practicing for the PSAT and have provided a download link to the Student Study Guide. For juniors, this test is the National Merit Qualifying Test. There are other scholarships associated with this program so we encourage your child to find time to read the study guide and prepare for the exam.
