Christmas Community Service Event with the Pediatric Unit of Tampa General Hospital

The Tampa Catholic High School Women’s Lacrosse Program is pleased to announce that once again, we are working with Tampa General Hospital to bring Christmas Joy to pediatric patients undergoing treatment over the Christmas Holiday. Over the next two months, the Team will solicit and collect toys and gift cards for the children and deliver them on Friday, December 16.

DSC_1710_Girls Lacrosse toy drive.jpgWe need your help! Won’t you please open your hearts to these children and consider donating unwrapped toys or making a cash or gift card contribution to aid in our efforts? All donations will be distributed directly to the children at TGH (or another worthy charity if we have anything left over). We will need gifts for both boys and girls and the age range is infant to mid-teens. In order to collect enough toys for each sex and age group, we are asking the Freshman class to donate toys for infant and toddler girls and boys. The Sophomore class, toys for girls and boys ages 5-10. The Junior class, toys for girls and boys ages 11-13. The Senior class, gift cards from Target or Walmart ($10) for the older girls and boys.

The Theology department has generously agreed to collect the toys daily in support of this event. Cash and gift card donations should be delivered to Ms. Norden in her classroom. Please bring your donations to your Theology class and help us make a difference this Holiday Season! We want these young patients to know that they are not alone, nor are they forgotten!

Merry Christmas and may God Bless all of you!
