Blessing & Lighting Of the TC Christmas Tree

We will be blessing and lighting the official TC Christmas tree on Thursday, December 6th, starting at 7:00 in Crusader Hall. The event is truly a wonderful way for TC students, families, faculty and FUTURE CRUSADER FAMILIES to get in the mood for the start of the Christmas season. The first half of the program is a candlelight procession across campus to the chapel, with giant Christmas scenes being projected onto the sides of the buildings. Gathering at the chapel we will then bless the advent wreath, the manger, and the Christmas tree – interspersed with readings and carols by TC Glee.

The second half of the program will consist of the countdown to the lighting of the tree, followed by carols, and a spectacular holiday Christmas dance by TC’s Crusaderettes, rivaling the Radio City Rockettes. Fireworks will be lighting up the skies to welcome Santa Claus, and pose for pictures with all the spectators – distributing treats to all kids 80 and under. You and your family members and friends can pose for your 2018 official Christmas portrait with Santa. (bring your camera or phone so you get the picture). If you have little ones at home this is a wonderful opportunity to bring them and see their eyes light up when they watch the fireworks and the arrival of Santa Claus. The evening will conclude with cookies and hot cocoa sprinkled with marshmallows, served in Crusader Hall that is decorated like Santa’s house.
