Boys Basketball: Our boys team has their final district game this evening here in The Castle against Brooks Debartolo a team we defeated earlier this year 72-71. It should be a great game. 7:30 is the start following the JV game at 6:00.
Last week on Martin Luther King Day the team participated in their annual Tampa HomeMakers service project delivering furniture to families less fortunate. This was the 6th year the team has done this and we are always touched by the experience. I was especially touched this year by a little boy who when he got 3 new books acted as if he had received the greatest thing in his life and maybe those books were the greatest thing he had ever received. It brought tears to my eyes and hopefully our players left with a much greater appreciation of what they have.
Spring Sports: Spring sports are getting started with practice and more to come as their seasons start in a few weeks.
