Msgr. John Scully, Tampa Catholic's Founding President and Principal

In 1962, the Archdiocese of St. Augustine opened Tampa Catholic High School to the young men and women of Tampa. Monsignor John Scully, who oversaw the construction of the campus was also TC's first President and Principal. Over the 60 years that have followed, TC has continued to follow Msgr. Scully's visionary leadership and its mission to provide a rigorus academic education, strongly rooted in the Catholic Faith. This is possible thanks in a large part to the generosity of TC's benefactors. Estate and Planned Gifts of alumni and friends play an important part in securing our financial future.

The 1962 Legacy Society recognizes and honors all individuals who provide support for Tampa Catholic High School in their wills, trusts, life income gifts, retirement plans, life insurance designations, and other planned gifts. By joining others who have taken this step, you can take satisfaction from knowing that you are part of an important legacy.

We would be gratified and honored to include you in our 1962 Legacy Society if you have:

  • Provided for the Tampa Catholic High School in your will or trust.
  • Designated us as the beneficiary of a qualified retirement plan, savings bond, bank account, or life insurance policy.
