Q. What is the Cross
& Shield Celebration?
The Cross & Shield
Celebration is a fun-filled gala dinner and auction
held each year. Proceeds from this fundraiser will
go towards the athletic complex, tuition
assistance, and various campus improvements. More
than 50 parents, alumni and volunteers are working
enthusiastically to make the dinner/auction a
success. This year’s Celebration theme is
‘TC Through the Years’.
Q. Where do the auction
items come from?
Local merchants and
businesses, benefactors and friends of Tampa
Catholic, Alumni and parents of students donate
items for the auction. If you would like to make a
donation, please contact Bart Cobb advancement@tampacatholic.org. Check this site often to
see what’s new and to
get a glimpse of what’s in store for auction
items.
Q. How do donors
benefit?
Tampa Catholic High School is
designated by the IRS as a 501(c)3 charity
(non-profit organization). Therefore, all donations
are tax deductible. Donors receive promotional
advertising space in the auction program. Programs
are distributed to all attendees at the auction and
to all donors who request one. Donors also receive
a listing in the auction program recognition pages
as well as in the school’s Crusader Magazine,
mailed to more than 7,000 people.

Cross & Shield Celebration?
