2012 State Meet Results and Season Wrap-up

Congratulations to Coach Prather and the 2012 Crusader Track Team. This is one of the stronger teams fielded by the Crusaders in years and at the 2012 State Championships Annie Harwig placed second overall in the pole vault with a spectacular vault of 11' 6". View the Tampa Bay Times article on her and the Crusader Track team accomplishments. Taylor Timmons was seventh in the shot put (49-8¾). Ken Mention was fifth in the 400 (48.97) and teamed with Daniel Fasani, Pete Martinez and Nathan Nammour to finish eighth in the 4x800 (8:07.76).
State Meet Qualifiers:
Ken Mention 2nd in the 400 meter,  time 49:12

Justin Motlow 4th in the 400 meter, time- 50:03

4x800  Relay 3rd New school record time- 8:14  Ken Mention, Daniel Fasani, Pete Martinez, Nathan Nammour

Early Season Update

Taylor Timmons was seventh in the shot put (49-8¾). The Crusaders' Ken Mention was fifth in the 400 (48.97) and teamed with Daniel Fasani, Pete Martinez and Nathan Nammour to finish eighth in the 4x800 (8:07.76).

The Boys Team won the Berkeley Prep Invitational on Saturday, March 3rd! Coach Aaron Prather has been pleased with the performance and work of both the girls and boys track teams so far this season.

Congratulations to Annie Harwig, who set a TC school record for Girl's Pole Vault at 11 feet in March 8th's meet at Berkeley Prep.  Great job Annie!
