Girls Basketball

The girls won their 2nd consecutive state title defeating North Broward Prep 48-37. Meghan Keough earned the MVP honors by scoring 30 of TC’s points.

 

The win caps a 28-4 season, including a 25 game win streak that began on Dec 7th.

The Florida Association of Basketball Coaches recently named TC senior Meghan Keough their Class 3A player of the year. Meghan’s fine play all season was capped by a 30-point performance in TC’s state final victory over North Broward Prep.

 

Coach Nancy Kroll came to TC after two successful years at Freedom High School where she received Coach of the Year honors during both years and posted a 28-3 record. Coach Kroll also brings coaching experience from the college ranks. She was the Head Women’s Basketball coach at Fairleigh Dickinson University for seven years and Hillsborough Community College for three.

 

We congratulate Kroll who earned the Florida Athletic Coaches Association (FACA) 3A Coach of the Year award for the 2010-2011 season.
