Dual Enrollment Courses

Students who are interested in enrolling for the Dual Enrollment courses must take the PERT qualifying test at HCC.

What is the procedure for taking the test (PERT)?

Students wanting to enroll in a Dual Enrollment course at TC must go to HCC’s Dale Mabry campus and take the PERT at their testing center.  This test in administered free of charge.  You may call the test center at 253-7393 for available times.  Please allow 2 hours for testing.  The testing center is located in the Student Services Building in room 203.  Please be sure to identify yourself as a Tampa Catholic student requesting the PERT for Dual Enrollment.  You will be required to provide a picture ID and your social security number.  It is the student’s responsibility to bring the test results to the Guidance Dept. at TC prior to course selection.  It is strongly recommended to take the test as soon as possible.  It is not necessary to complete an application to HCC and no application or testing fee is required.
