How To Apply

Thanks for your interest in applying to Tampa Catholic High School. Here’s what you need to do.

Complete the Application

Applications are given to 8^th grade students at schools where we provide programs on Tampa Catholic and to students that attend our Crusader for a Day programs. Additionally an application can be downloaded here.

Carefully complete the application following the directions provided. Incomplete applications cannot be processed and delay our consideration of the student. The $45 non-refundable application fee covers the cost of the required admissions test. On the application you will indicate the date on which the student will take this important test.

Our testing dates for the class of 2016 are:

Nov. 19, 2011           Dec. 10, 2011             Jan. 21, 2012            and March 10, 2012

NOTE:  Students wishing to compete for our academic scholarships must take the November 19^th admissions test.

Take the Admissions Test

Tampa Catholic uses the Explore test provided by the ACT. The test is used to determine admissions to TC as well as placement for students accepted into the school. Click here for details regarding the test.

Request Records

You need to request that records from your child’s school be sent to Tampa Catholic. The forms and instructions for this are included in the Application. While you should submit the request as soon as possible the school will not send the records to Tampa Catholic until the end of the 2nd grading period (1st semester).

Read the Notification Letter

Students will receive a letter informing them of the decision of the Admissions Committee regarding their acceptance to Tampa Catholic.
